An Update On Tara

On February 26, 2014, Tara, Matt and her care team determined to cease treatments. The decision was made based on the rapid progression of her cancer and to allow her quality time with family and friends.

Tara and Matt and the kids appreciate everyone’s ongoing love and support.

  1. I cry as I read this but know that God has your family in the palm of his hand. You are in our prayers daily. "Every good and perfect gift is from above." James 1:17. Tara you are a true gift, a blessing to know, even though I only met you in person once, that one hug has kept me more motivated to live my life to the fullest than any doctor or pill could have ever done. I will never be able to thank you enough for sharing your journey. You have the strength of an eagle for sure! Soar my friend! You are and Angel here on earth and that will never change.
  2. For the short time I have known Tara and Matt, their love for each other has amazed me. I have never known 2 people more "right" for each other. Tara and Matt have been an inspiration and touched so many lives. I cannot say enough about this truly amazing family. My heart felt prayers are with you Matt, as Tara has gone before you on her next journey.
