What a fantastic night for our second Ta-Ta bash! We are thrilled to announce that over $20,000 was raised from the event and will go directly to supporting women and families suffering from Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC)!
TNBC typically strikes younger women who are establishing their careers and families. Its aggressive nature and epidemiology translate into limited treatment options both in the short term and long-term to fight off recurrence. The lack of long-term treatment options create an additional emotional burden on individuals and families recovering from this devastating diagnosis.
At MargariTa-Taville 2015 we were joined by Becky Kaplan, her speech captured in the video below truly embodies what the TaTa Sisterhood is all about.
We are pleased to report that since our founding, the TaTa Sisterhood Foundation has helped 25 women. In addition, these women are the mothers of more than 52 children. They are wives, they are daughters, they are neighbors, they are friends. So one gift, or repeating support of one woman, touches many more lives in the TNBC community beyond those 25 women. Our goal is to leave no stone unturned, so that those women suffering from TNBC and needing assistance can be visited by a “chemo angel.” Tara would be so proud of what we've accomplished so far - with the help of friends like you!
We want to thanks everyone for supporting the journey of women and families that you may never meet. Each gift to the TaTa Sisterhood Foundation is meaningful and significant. The compassion, kindness, and generosity shown by our supporters is truly humbling. We could not do what we do without you. Please follow us on Facebook and check our website for updates on activities of the Foundation, ways to get involved, and to continue your wonderful support of our mission!
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
