The History of the Sisterhood
The TaTa Sisterhood was brought to life in 2013 by founder Tara Boland and her loving and supportive friends. In the midst of Tara’s own fight with triple-negative breast cancer, she and her community committed themselves to creating greater support and resources for all women facing TNBC.
Tara’s legacy continues to touch more and more lives through the expanded impact of the TaTa Sisterhood and through her inspiring example of how to make every day count.
So many caring individuals have woven themselves into the story of the TaTa Sisterhood. This is what TaTa is all about, and what Tara wanted for women in their time of need: to feel a community around them.
